When the owner of Crown Northampton, maker of high-end English shoes, visited the Horween headquarters in Chicago, he discovered some 75-year-old leather hides he knew would make an amazing pair of sneakers. After a conversation with Skip Horween, the challenge was born—they found a skin that was still in good enough condition for shoemaking from the few remaining ones and sent it back to their factory in Northampton.

All of the brand's shoes utilize traditional British methods of construction and they were able to craft a stylish and streamlined pair of low-top sneakers (not unlike their popular Harlestone derby sneakers) from the repurposed deadstock leather. And now, they're giving away this priceless pair. We've teamed up with Heddles and a few other friends to give away this expertly crafted pair of sneakers.
